TRADEMARK REGISTRATION PROCEDURE IN MALAYSIA
Trademark registration procedure shall include the following stages:
STAGE 1: To conduct trademark search, to check the availability of your trademark for registration and to make sure that your trademark complies the requirement of registration under Malaysian Trade Marks Act 2019 . Search result will be issued within 24 hours after payment.
STAGE 2: To process and submit registration to MyIPO. Registration can be done within 24 hours and confirmation of registration will be sent directly to your email. Registration certificate will be issued approximately 8 to 12 months from the submission date. The process of getting the registration certificate can be shorten to 3 to 4 months by filing expedited examination application or fast track application to MyIPO.
Every registration valid for 10 years and can be renewed for every 10 years.

PROOF OF SUBMISSION
A proof of submission will be sent to your email in PDF form after we have submitted the registration. After submission, we need to wait around 8 to 12 months to get the trademark registered.
